What effects do the digital transformation and globalization have on the economy? How are regions, firms and workers affected? Which policies can help to adapt to and shape these developments? I study these questions empirically using tools from applied econometrics and micro data.
My fields of interest are labor economics, urban economics, and innovation economics.
I am currently an Associate at Analysis Group in San Francisco. In my spare time I like to go outside and explore the world around me. I also enjoy hiking and sailing. Sometimes I take my camera with me; if you care to see some impressions from places I visited follow the link below.
